MY NAME IS_ Aram.
I work as an illustrator.
Born in Ohio, grew up in S.Korea
and live here in New York.
I live with a very peaky lady cat,
Ho-rang (meaning tiger).

WITH MY ILLUSTRATION_ I want to be a visual writer who can express the idea through my art. That’s why I want to work for publications like magazines, books, especially children’s books with which I can let my imagination go wild~! (Check out my children’s book Whale in the Forest!)

AS MUCH AS I LOVE _ bright colors of gouache that I use for paintings, I am completely fascinated by the art of printmaking, especially etching. Check out my etchings I’ve been producing since fall 2008. *Prints available at the shop or through email.
