I will be holding a children's art & craft workshop at the Central Library of Brooklyn Public Library. More info below:
Get on the bus as your imagination takes a ride and you create the canvas. Joined by fellow passenger and cat companion, re-create one of the spreads from the book as you design a storefront that you would like to see while riding along looking out the window.
Ages: 8 – 12. Seating is limited, first come, first served. Participants limited to 25 kids.
Award-winning children’s book author and illustrator Pat Cummings is Brooklyn Public Library’s 2016 Katowitz Radin Artist-in-Residence. Join us as Pat along with former students and illustrators she has mentored facilitate workshops that will teach storytelling and art skills through the development of a picture book.
